Srila Prabhupada (1896–1977) a spiritual leader and the founder-acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), widely known as the Hare Krishna movement is our main source of inspiration. Born in Calcutta, India, he dedicated his life to spreading the teachings of Bhakti Yoga and the chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra globally. Srila Prabhupada translated and authored numerous sacred texts, most notably the Bhagavad Gita, and inspired thousands to embrace a life of devotion and spiritual consciousness. His profound impact on the Western world and the revival of Krishna consciousness earned him the title “The Founder of the Hare Krishna Movement.”
